The research group Data Mining at the Faculty of Computer Science of University of Vienna is looking for highly motivated PhD candidates and postdocs. We are offering an excellent working environment in a young, creative and international team. You will contribute to fascinating data mining projects offering the possibility to take over responsibility at an early stage, to publish the results at leading international conferences and to exchange ideas with international and interdisciplinary cooperation partners. Research topics are: Exploratory Data Mining. Information-theoretic methods; Integration of data; High-performance Data Mining on modern hardware. Salery and working conditions are according to the Austrian Kollektivvertrag. Starting date is as soon as possible. Good German language skills are required.
