Visiting Assistant Professors

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is hiring one visiting assistant professor to begin on January 1, 2019. Appointment will be initially for one semester and can be renewed. The visiting faculty will teach 3 courses in the semester of Winter 2019. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field by the appointment date. Applicants should e-mail a letter of intent with resume and a teaching statement to Dr. Lunjin Lu (***@oakland.edu) by December 16, 2018. The teaching statement should include a list of undergraduate and graduate courses that the applicant will be willing to teach. The department urgently needs a faculty to teach CSI 3610: Design and Analysis of Algorithms, CSI 3640: Computer Organization and CSI 5610: Advanced Data Structures and Algorithms.

The department is currently offering BSc. Degrees in Computer Science and in Information Technology, MSc. degrees in Computer Science and in Software Engineering and Information Technology, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Informatics.
